Josip Sobin has been running a foreign language school and institute for adult education since 2011. The role has allowed him to combine his enthusiasm for education and IT with his management skills, leading to the development of a nationally recognized educational company. In 2015, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce recognized the company as the most successful small business in the Split-Dalmatia region. In the same year, the Chamber of Commerce awarded the company the Croatian Quality symbol, a recognition of excellence in all of its services. Additionally, the company received multiple European grants for software development and teacher training programs. On Skills-up online event he will present Erasmus + project: VR4ALL 2.0.

About vR4ALL 2.0

The original project, VR4LL 1.0, provided language teachers and learners with the opportunity to use VR technology in a classroom context. The success of this initial project is evident from the large number of language schools that are using the VR materials, and the fact that the project was shortlisted for the British Council’s prestigious ELTon’s award in the category of Digital Innovation.

VR4LL 2.0 is a new project, also co-funded by Erasmus+, with even more ambitious aims. The core objective of VR4LL 2.0 is to leverage recent advances in VR technology to offer students even more stimulating opportunities to practice and improve their language skills.
